Hotline for the lost is a package ordered through an ominous telephone hotline. The package contains a book, a pack of unsatisfying cigarettes, and a lighter-shaped USB flash drive (holding two videos and text edit notes) that play out a six-act opera about the stories and traumas of STRANGERS and COWBOYS

STRANGER COWBOYS
STRANGER chops up COWBOY in the woods. STRANGERS COWBOYS is a collection of COWBOY's components. Set together they formed into the shape of an operatic visual album. STRANGER doesn't understand why.
STRANGER isn't "like" this.

AVACADO GROVE
AVOCADO GROVE is a play that shouldn't be performed, or at least the books begs the reader to not continue reading..
It plays out the troubled relationship between COWBOY V and SPACEMAN/STRANGER V, over a series of kidnappings.
